President Biden, Please Pardon Leonard Peltier

Leonard Peltier was falsely convicted in aiding and abetting of the murder in the deaths of 2 FBI agents in 1975 on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Even his prosecutor now regrets the conviction based on faulty evidence. The FBI refuses to show what they have knowing it would demand a new trial and a release. The government wanted someone to pay for the crime and they found it in Leonard and he has paid for now with 50 years in prison. That’s called political imprisonment. We call on the president to pardon Leonard so he can spend what little time he has remaining, with his family and friends.

President has given clemency 1,500 and 1 Americans the the one being his son, Hunter Biden. Bill Clinton once had a clemency on the table when 400 FBI agents walked in front of the White House in protest. Clinton rescinded the papers but gave clemency to a tax scofflaw who had donated to his campaign.

President Biden, please pardon or give clemency to Leonard Peltier. It’s the right thing to do.
